Description: | This corpus collects German sign language (DGS) data. For this project, native, early, and late DGS signers were recorded performing different tasks (narratives of short picture stories/cartoon clips) and engaging in free conversation. These recordings and their annotations are stored in this corpus. | |
GTP: The give&take stimuli consist of 2 videoclips, for the content of these clips - see the textfiles attached. Signers were asked to re-narrate the events in these videos to the addressee. | ||
ALF is a native DGS signer. She was born deaf and started learning DGS around the age of 12. She also knows LBG. | ||
UZ is a male native signer who recruited the participants in Aachen and recorded them. | ||
CB is a native signer. She was born deaf and started learning DGS around the age of 6. She also knows ISL. | ||
