| The aim of the project is to provide a rich linguistic and ethnographic documentation of two highly endangered but almost totally undocumented languages in eastern Nepal, Chintang and Puma. These languages belong to the Kiranti family of Tibeto-Burman. Chintang is spoken by the Chintang Rai in Chintang Village Development Committee (VDC) of Dhankuta district. Puma is spoken by the Puma Rai in Diplung, Mauwabote, Devisthan and Pauwasera VDCs, to the south of Khotang bazar in Khotang district. | LDCh1 and elder brother are outside at a shack. LDCh1 tries to get to the pig in the pig shed but doesn’t succeed. He gets shouted at from adults in the background. LDCh1 sings while playing in the little shed and outside of it. Then they play in a goat shed. They talk with the woman in the background and play infront of the house. Elder brother is on a tree while LDCh1 tries to get him down with a stick. Woman talks to him and seems to be giving him instructions from the background. | ||
