Description:The singer describes himself, saying that he is not a jealous man. He respects elders and listens to them. People envy his clan because they have many cows. “It is our precious bull makuei (colour of fishing eagle) which makes people jealous of us.” He then praises his sister Akuoi saying that “she will bring cows to the clan of Deng” (i.e. she will be married off in exchange for many cows). His bull makuei is bright among the cows. Makuei resembles an elephant. Akoy Tiermraan bought makuei and his spear with his own money. He adds that his clan are generous people in the community. They welcome visitors, and even in difficult times they give them food. This means that they are rich.
