Description:This is the worship of the Hang (Rajdeo), which is worshipped at the beginning of most rituals. The Hang, whose proper name is Rucchehang, is believed to be an adopted son of Budhohang. He was the biological son of Bahun, the priestly high caste of Nepal. The Hang is worshipped outside the house. Chicken, chicken eggs, pork, etc. are not used as offerings to the Hang. For worshipping the Hang, only pigeon, duck eggs are used as sacrificial objects.
