Ceci est une grammaire descriptive de la langue bambara basée sur l'expérience de l'auteur qui travaillait comme écrivain et enseignant au sud du Mali. Le livre comprise 14 chapitres pour expliquer la syntaxe bambara, chacun plus complexe que le précédant. Son style directe explique les pronoms, adjectives, verbes, auxiliaires temporales et locatifs. Il utilise également les exemples clairs pour mieux montre la structure de la langue. Chaque chapitre a ses propres exercices pour pratiquer. A descriptive grammar of the Bamana language, based in the author's experience as a writer and teacher in southern Mali. The book is divided into 14 chapters which describe Bamana syntax in increasing complexity. It uses direct language to define parts of speech (pronouns, adjectives, verbs, tense markers, locatives, etc) and sentence structure (phrases, conjunctions, compound sentences, etc.) and illustrates these definitions with numerous examples.
