This second year reader by ADEF (Education and Training Development Association) is a contribution to the process of literacy in national languages. It teaches about the history of some areas and their inhabitants through tales or real events. It aims not only at teaching that history but also enables users to practice reading the Wolof language and perform comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary exercises. Cette oeuvre de l'ADEF (un livre de lecture, 2ème année) contribue à l'alphabètisation en langues nationales. L'histoire de certaines zones d'habitation et de leurs occupants est enseigne dans cet ouvrage à travers de contes ou de réeles histoires. Ce livre vise non seulement à enseigner cette histoire mais permet aussi aux utilisateurs de pouvoir pratiquer la lecture de la langue wolof et faire des exercices de comprehension de texte, de grammaire et de vocabulaire.
