Such examples as this ... are sung towards the beginning of the Image Ceremony, while mourners are burning clothes. 'The women dance while this is sung. The song tells how they prepared the ground to burn the body of Ouiout...Then they went aroud three times and laid the body in a pile and started the fire' (DuBois 1908a:118)."
