		Les Muloyi, famille immensément riche établie en haute montagne, se retrouvent en difficulté pour un simple harnais de labour qui leur fait défaut; il leur faut alors reconnaître l’erreur de leur superbe isolement, et leur dépendance envers autrui. Ce récit exemplaire se prolonge par l’évocation des montagnes sacrées et de leurs sources aux vertus magiques, entités-repères qui cristallisent pratiques rituelles et souvenirs familiaux et collectifs.
