| Description: | A hunter has two wives, an adulterer and a thief. He finds a solution to his problems: he poisons his wife's lover's dish, then, when the poor man dies and the wife brings his body to her husband, he presents the corpse as if it was an animal that he hunted. His second wife, who is a thief, finds the body only to discover it is a human being and then again is bound to ask her husband for help. He then brings the body to a manioc field that is owned by an old woman who every morning wakes everybody up by shouting threats and promises to kill anyone who dares stealing from her manioc field. So the hunter puts thw corpse upright as if it was someone who was pulling manioc from the ground. The old woman finds the body and hits it, thinking it was a manioc thief. The body falls on the ground. The woman thinks she killed him and everyone else finds her guilty. | |
