Description:		A young woman forced into an unwanted marriage develops compulsive secretive eating as a symptom of failed integration into her new household. While alone at home, she cooks and eats eggs, but chokes and appears to die. After her burial, her former lover visits her grave at night and inadvertently saves her life while attempting to remove her jewelry. This tall story illustrates the diplomacy required of mothers when managing family reconfigurations resulting from the transfer of a family member from one house to another through marriage.

Seule à la maison, elle se fait cuire des œufs, s'étouffe avec, et paraît morte. Après son enterrement, son ancien amant rouvre la tombe à la faveur de la nuit, et lui sauve involontairement la vie en tentant de la dépouiller de ses bijoux. Cette histoire rocambolesque met en scène les ressources de diplomatie déployées par les mères de famille dans la gestion des recompositions familiales liées au processus délicat de transfert d'une personne d'une maison à une autre par le mariage.
