Description:(Notes on case) Ma3 C/BAGARAP (Notes on cassette) Side A - TYPED C/Bagarap, Ma/R 243 Ma3 Side B - R 542 > 952 Various conversations, narratives, stories about personal, ancestral, traditional, historical folktales and myths in the Madang Region. The stories are generally from various encounters and experiences between people, nature and the spirit world and missionaries. Accounts of everyday life activities, ceremonies, errands, movements, lifestyle practices of culture and traditions in the people's subsistence livelihoods are being told. Specific details of these stories can be accessed in Tok Pisin by the various speakers and translated in English as required. (Steven Gagau, November 2017). Language as given:
Format:Digitised: yes Media: BASF LH 120 cassette Audio Notes: After numerous attempts at digitisation and cassette rehousing, the resulting digitisation is incomplete and badly distorted towards the end of each file. There seems to be some mechanical problem with the tape itself, which physically "screeches" when played, and the audio quality is likewise affected. It is unlikely that a better quality digitisation can be achieved with this tape.
