Description:Translation (Htoi Awng) The story I am going to tell now is about where and how Kachin people derived from. Long time ago in the age of our ancestors, Kachin people lived at Mt. Majoi. And they moved to Mt. Shingra. Then, Kachin people had derived. At that time, they divided the land like this is yours and this is mine in every place where they reached. They celebrated with Manau dance and were united. Nowadays, many Kachin people reach at Yangon, Mandalay and even in the foreign countries. I want to tell that they all are people who derived from Mt. Majoi. This is the end of the story.
