Description:Translation (Htoi San) A long time ago, an ugly mother had a son. This story is about a boy who gave fish to beautiful mothers. Long ago, a boy fished for a living in a hamlet. His mother was not pretty and pitiful, whereas other mothers were gorgeous. The ugly mother and her son lived in a large village. One day, they went fishing. When the boy caught big fish, he gave them to other pretty mothers. His mother was so miserable, and she collected prawns beside a lake. She also scooped out small fish and went home when it was dark. The mother nipped off and cooked what she got. His son gave all the big fish he caught to his good-looking mothers and relatives during the day. However, no one called him, "Today, you help our fishing. Come and eat with us." Therefore he was hungry and went home. He lay down in front of his house and played his flute. His mother called him for dinner. "My child, Mom got and cooked prawns, big eye fish, and Shala fish." "Come and eat." The son ate what his mother had prepared. His mother gave him a meal with prawns and various kinds of fish. The other pretty mothers, whom he gave big fish to, did not serve food to him. People sang about the story "Give Fish to pretty mothers" until now. Here is a short story that people use to tell.
