Description:Translation (by Seng Pan) Now I am going to tell about how Sadung waterfall emerged. Long ago, Sadung stream flew beside a Shan village which was near Sadung field. And it passed through from the middle of the paddy field. Now, the way of the stream has changed. Since Sadung Nat (it's a spirit of Sadung stream) is so powerful, it flows around the field's curve. It doesn't go through the field. Once, a Shan man heard the sound of the waves "wu wu" because the water in the Sadung stream was rose and flew hardly. When he went and checked, he saw it didn't rise so much. As his house was just beside the stream, he couldn't just stand there and see. At dawn, he saw a big black thing like log was drifted down the stream with the current. Soon after that, he passed away. Nowadays, the stream flows to Sadung waterfall. Near waterfall, there is a bridge and it is a good place to visit. There is no one in Kachin state who doesn't want to visit that place. However, the spirits there are very evil. One time, many boys and girls went and played there. They also caught the fish. One boy went down to the water and didn't come out anymore. The spirit of waterfall is also very harmful. Even though you go and visit there, you should be alert all the time. Because the waterfall is a place where has many evil spirits.
