Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) I would like to tell a short story. In the past, a dove's voice was really nice and pleasant. When the children cried, parents usually told them, "Listen to the sound of the dove! It's really pleasant." Then there was an inquisitive child. He asked, "What is that dove saying? It says du, du, du ..." When he asked that, his parents needed to answer his question. They told him, "The dove is saying that du, du, du, my elder uncle and younger uncle die every rainy season. I am so sad. Du, du, du ..." Then the boy asked them again, "Who are its uncles?" His parents told him, "They are snails. The dove's two uncles were snails." "Snails are everywhere during the rainy season. People kill the snails when they see them because the snails are disgusting. So, the dove is crying and saying du, du, du ..." explained his parents. Every rainy season, there were many snails. They were killed so the dove was sad and cried. The dove's elder uncle and younger uncle were snails. This is the end of the story.
