Description:Translation (Dau Hkawng) Long ago, there was a King. The King was different from other Kings. Other Kings had many queens and concubines who wanted them, but he was loyal and loved only the queen he once married. The King loved the queen very much, and they married and lived together. So, while they were living together, the queen became pregnant. She became pregnant and gave birth to a child. The queen died shortly after the birth of the baby. After the queen’s death, the King asked the Prophet for the future as he had faith in the prophets. The prophet said; "Your Majesty, my King," "The Prince has a fate that is enough to die by something coming out of the water or by a snake." With that, the King took great care of the Prince. "He was a very caring Prince, and why would he die like that? And I never let him bathed in a river." said the King himself. "I never let him go to a river, even a stream." continued the King. The King kept his son with many servants and guards. The King did not take another wife because he feared that he could not look after his son and because he loved his wife. One day, while caring for his son, the day came when his son was 17 years old and had to die with something coming out of the water or by a snake. The King said that "It is impossible." But on the 17th birthday of the Prince, he went to the fortune teller and told him that this was impossible. "You predicted to my son to die," "When he is 17, and today he is 17," said the King to the Prophet. “And he is still alive today” continued the King. "And he is still alive today and will not die anymore," continued the King. The Prophetess replied, "It is not so. I have been prophesying for many years, and my prophecy has never been wrong." "You said your predictions are not wrong, but how could it be? We did not go to any river and stream. "You said that my son would die because of the dragon in the water. Today, my son is 17 years old." the King complained to the Prophetess. "We did not go to the water, so my son could not die because of the dragon in the water." the King said with a little haughtiness. For many years he did not become arrogant, but he paid attention to the words of the Prophetess and passed the times by with care for his son. But. At the age of 17 of the Prince, the King began to despise the prophetess. "Moreover, my son is 17 years old today and would not die," the King said to the prophetess sarcastically. And the prophetess said, "My prophecy was never wrong," the prophetess replied to the King. The King went to the prophetess and talked with her, and the King said, "Your prophecy was impossible today because my son was not going to die." At night, the King and his son Prince prepared and set aside a place to sleep. They stopped talking and got up, but, on the night of Prince's 17th birthday, a dragon statue, which had been given to the King as a gift by the people, fell on the young Prince's top of the head accidentally and dead. So, no matter how healthy we are, it is imperative not to make a mistake at the moment. Transcription (Lu Awng) Moi shawng de hkawhkam wa langai mi nga ai da.
