Description:		Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Once upon a time, a woman who had a human face and a dog body with four legs had two daughters. They became gorgeous girls when they grew up. The second daughter got married to a man from the west. The eldest daughter got married to a chief from the east. Their mother visited her daughters alternately. When she visited her youngest daughter, she was not acknowledged. The daughter told her servants that she was not her mother. When the mother visited her eldest daughter, she told the servants, "Your lady is my daughter." Then, the servants said, "No way! You have such an ugly face and that kind of body! You can't be the mother of our lady. No way!" But the eldest daughter acknowledged the mother and welcomed her. The eldest daughter said, "Yes, she is my mother." While the mother was staying with her eldest daughter, she had a serious illness. Meanwhile, there was a catastrophe in the west where the second daughter lived. It resulted in famine. The second daughter told her people to go to her sister's country and ask for food. The villagers took many fruits and food from the eldest sister's country, but the food turned bad when they were near the compound where the second daughter lived. So, the second daughter didn't have anything to eat. There was much food for the eldest daughter because she treated her mother well. So, she got the blessings. Later, the mother died while staying with the eldest daughter. Before she passed away, she told her eldest daughter, "When I die, plant a tree at the place where my body is buried." The eldest daughter buried the mother in her compound and planted a tree there. The tree was fruitful. They even shared the fruits with the villagers. No matter how many people came to take the fruits to the second daughter's place, the fruits turned bad when they arrived at her place. The fruits couldn't be eaten. A mother is a person who gives birth to us, and we should never treat our mothers in a bad way. This is the end of the story.
