Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Many years ago, there were a rooster and a male dog in a house. They usually went to some ceremonies, festivals or events to get some food. But the dog usually bit and fought with other dogs and got some wounds. And it always felt pain at night. It had got many painful wounds on its body. One day, the rooster told the dog, "Hey! My friend dog, let's go to a ceremony!" The dog replied, "I won't get any food to eat even though I go. I have got to feel only pain. So I feel lazy and unhappy. I don't want to go." "If you don't get anything to eat, I will find food for you," said the rooster. "If you will find food for me, I will go," told the dog. When they went there, the dog sat near the bush and the rooster went around the fireplace where people put porridge pot on. When people saw that rooster going around there, they told each other, "Drive that rooster away. It might accidentally put something in the porridge pot." Then people said "Shuuuu!" to drive the rooster away. The rooster felt shocked and flapped its wings when they shouted. Then the ashes went into the porridge pot. So people said, "See! We can't eat that porridge now. Throw that away." When the porridge got cold, the rooster told the dog, "Eat now! Eat!" In that way, the rooster found food for the dog. The dog was full by eating that porridge which the rooster found for it. In the end, the dog went back happily on that day.
