Description:Translation (Htoi Awng) Once upon a time, there was a man in a village. Wherever he went, he always split the bamboo strips there. When he went to a wedding, harvested the vegetables or went to help the others, he always split bamboo strips there without doing anything else. Then, the villagers were amazed. They said, "We should do like him too." One day, the man asked for help from the villagers to harvest his field. The villagers came to him and were just spliting bamboo strips. They didn't finish harvesting that day. He was a kind of person who always split bamboo strips although he was at a funeral. When he died, the villagers didn't bury him and just split bamboo strips. As days passed by, the dead body emitted distinct odors. The other people from another village said, "It won't be good. We should bury him. Let's bring some food from each of our houses and held a funeral for him." Then, they buried him nicely. Although someone did bad to us, we shouldn't response badly to them back. This is the end of the story.
