Description:Translation (Htoi San) Once upon a time, a king traveled around his country. He visited from place to place in his kingdom. The king reached a village while his visit around the country. When he got into the village, it was getting dark. A father and a son who worked on a farm for a living stayed in that village. The king rested at a farmhouse of the father and the son. As it was dark, the king had to sleep there. The king had no other place to sleep except the farmhouse. The king had a dream that night. The man who worked on the farm and the farmhouse owner had a baby. The father placed his baby to sleep in a hanging cradle. The king slept in their place and had a dream. In the king's dream, the baby sleeping in the cradle snatched the king's position from him. After that, the baby ruled the country. The king dreamed like that. As soon as he had this dream, he woke up shockingly from his sleep. Then he thought, "If my dream is true, it is not good. It should not be like my dream. It totally could not have happened." The following day, he woke up very early and considered, "What should I do about this? If it happens according to my dream, I can't let the child live." The farmhouse owner went out to work on the farm for his job. The baby was left sleeping in the cradle. The king had an evil mind and stole the baby from his hanging cradle. Then he brought the baby with him. He took the baby, put it in a basket, and then floated it in the water. The king from another country saw the basket and picked it up. After that, the other king took care of the baby. The first king had a daughter. That king only had a daughter but not a son. The first king believed in his dream about taking his throne by force by the baby, so he threw him away. As he got rid of the baby, the other king rescued and provided for him. After twenty years, the first king's daughter became a princess. The princess fell in love with a prince from another country. The princess requested her father to marry her with the prince. The first king disagreed with his daughter. However, the king inquired about her daughter's boyfriend and discovered that the boyfriend was the prince. So the first king accepted his daughter's request. The first king continued his investigation into the prince's history, and he learned that the prince was rescued from the water. When he knew that the prince was the boy he floated away twenty years ago, he straight away remembered his lousy manner. The first king thought, "Oh! That prince was a boy I threw away due to my dream." Nevertheless, he already agreed with his daughter to marry that prince, so he let them marry. The boy became his daughter's husband. The boy sat on the first king's throne. The first king transferred his authority to his son-in-law, and the boy ruled the country. That boy became the king of his kingdom, which happened exactly the same as the first king's dream.
