Description: | Translation (Rita Seng Mai) In the past, there were no roads for vehicles in Jadeland like there are today. There were only footpaths. Two men took the footpath and went to Jadeland. One man was a poppy addict. The other man didn't use any poppy. They rested in a place known for tiger attacks. While they were resting, a tiger slowly crept toward them. The poppy addict was preparing to take the poppy. The man who didn't use poppy saw the tiger approaching them, so he climbed up the tree. The tiger was patiently waiting for the right moment to eat the humans. The tiger flicked its tail against the ground. One of the men said as the tiger approached them, "The tiger is approaching us! The tiger!" The poppy addict said, "Let it come if it dares! I will shoot it!" The tiger heard what the man said and thought, "I have eaten many humans, but I have never met this kind of person." The man who was afraid of the tiger was up in a tree, while the poppy addict stayed below and cooked poppy. He was using poppy and smoking a cigarette. From the tiger's point of view, he looked like he was eating fire. It thought, "That man is special! First, he threatened to shoot me, and now he is eating fire." Then it didn't attack that man. In the morning, the man climbed down the tree and cooked the meals. Then they continued their journey. Soon, eight women carrying goods to sell in Jadeland walked along the footpath. The last woman was around sixty years old. The tiger called that woman, saying, "Grandma, come here. Come here." The old woman was scared as the tiger called her, so she slowly walked toward it. The tiger asked her, "Grandma, is there really such a thing as a secret gun in men?" She answered, "Definitely! They have it. I have experienced it since I was sixteen. I still have the wound." The tiger moved closer and sniffed her private area. It thought, "Oh, she still has the scent of the wound." It felt frightened. It told her, "Don't eat ginger or fermented soybeans to heal your wound."
