Description:Translation (Seng Pan) The story I am going to tell is about Nbu Tsip (a dove often considered to be possessed from "bu"). A long time ago, there was a war between pigs and birds. The snout of Nbu Tsip animal was like the pig's snout. His body looked like the bird's body. Therefore, he fought the pigs together with the birds. However, it seemed the birds were going to lose. So, he joined with the pigs' groups. Then the pigs asked, "Aren't you a bird?" "No! Look at my snout! It's the same as yours, isn't it?" the Nbu Tsip asked. "Yes, it's similar to ours," the pigs replied. "Then I will fight the birds together with you," the Nbu Tsip said. The pigs also accepted him. After a while, it seemed the pigs were going to lose. So, he went to the birds. When the birds lost the war, he rejoined with the pigs. As he kept doing like that, both pigs and birds became to hate him. Therefore, the birds and pigs came together and drove Nbu Tsip out from their place. Since he couldn't find ways to run, he went under a big rock. Therefore, Nbu Tsip never went out. He just stayed under the rocks. Transcription (Lu Awng) Ya ngai hkai na maumwi a gabaw gaw n bu tsip a lam re. Moi shawng de da u ni hte wa ni majan byin ai da.
