Description:Translation (Seng Pan) The story is about a duck and a goose going back to their parents. Once upon a time, a duck and a goose were best friends. They were friends since they started laying the eggs. So, they promised to lay the eggs and brood at the same time. They also agreed to go back together to their parent when their children were old enough. They vowed, "We will go back together." When it was the time to lay eggs, the goose laid her eggs everywhere she played the water. She laid the eggs at where she came out from the water. She laid her eggs randomly. She rambled along and laid her eggs at wherever she went. Although the duck played the water together with the goose, she only laid her eggs at a specific place. She laid her eggs together only at a place. As they laid the eggs, it came the duck's brooding period. It was also the time for the goose to brood. The duck brooded her eggs carefully. She hugged all her eggs with her wings. However, the goose didn't know where she laid her eggs. Therefore, she couldn't collect them anymore. She just roamed around. That time, the ducklings hatched out. After that, the duck said, "My friend, goose, my babies were old enough. As we promised before, let's go back to our parents!" Then, the goose replied, "My friend, I couldn't hatch any eggs. I didn't remember where I laid my eggs. Let it be! You go back first. Next time, I will lay my eggs well, brood well and I will follow you that time." As the goose didn't plan to go back with the duck, she went back home with her ducklings to her parents. They met with the parents and came back to their place. The goose laid the eggs again. However, she still didn't lay the eggs at a specific place. Although many years passed by, she couldn't take her children and go back to her parents. But the duck could take her children to her parents whenever the eggs hatched. And they lived happily. However, the goose was lonely and lived without seriousness of purpose. Finish! Transcription (Htu Bu) Maumwi ga baw gaw Hkaipyek Hte Hkrangma Mayu Ga Wa Ai Lam re.
