Description: | A clan history told by Sampson Salimana. This tells about Kohkaa and the origin of the name of Keehno clan. Cf. MO01-017. Kohka murders the children of the village by sticking her long claws into their heads, when the villagers find out who is behind the murders they plan and plot for a spirit (Thunder /lightning) to ambush and kill Kohkaa. When they heard the thunder make the loud noise they responded with “Ekeeh no tuina ya?” (Has the Thunder killed her?) which became the name of the clan.. Language as given: | |
