| Description: | NP571 2/2/24. Language as given: | |
| Format: | Digitised: yes Media: Brevete SCDC R to R tape Audio Notes: A) 71/2ips, 5", CCIR eq. Field recording, music (traditional & marching band), 2trk mono. Some wow at end, perhaps from flat batttery or tape run-out. Some drop-outs due to leafing damage. Some print-through. Some static eg. at ~7.45, perhaps from faulty microphone cable. Paper markers in tape read, "on disc to _here_", "end of [illegible]", and scrap of postmark "AN[...] SEP 21'56 MICH." (indicating date?) Appears to have timecode sync track, but with drop-outs according to Studer "code level" indicator - film sync or studio dub? - carrier signal on recording at 24kHz? Tape ID with date and location (two passes, L & R) at ~4.30. Pitch pipe seems to indicate (concert A 440Hz?) tape speed slightly slow. B) N/A - 2trk mono. A) 15.42 | |
