Description:Recording provided to be deposited by the Resin ToLop family, Vunairoto Village, Livuan/Reimber LLG. The recording is Vunairoto Male Choir Volume 2. The Choir Master is Resin Tolop. The cassette cover reflects “Airoto leaves and fruit". The photo taken is of a branch of the Airoto tree mainly found along most beaches. The village name Vunairoto originates from this tree/Vuna means a cluster or roots/Iroto means this tree/so Vunairoto was born. Recordings were made by Esira Nurvue of United Church Cassette Ministries studio, Malmaluan. Songs are from the Methodist hymnal and also the Kuanua Hymnal, a translation of Hymns from the Methodist Hymnal into the Kuanua language that is the dialect for the indigenous Tolai people of ENB Province.
