Description:Timothy Seda is a pioneering reggae vocalist from the Solomon Islands, often called the "first reggae vocalist" in Central Kwara'ae (Central Kwaks). He performed with the Apprentice Band, contributing soulful vocals and lyrics to local reggae scenes that remain influential. Timothy performs songs about Australia (Aboriginal dispossession,the apology, and stolen land) and Papua New Guinea (Waria River area in Oro/Morobe Province) but focuses on his homeland of Solomon Islands. The 10 musical recordings range across reggae, hip-hop, and traditional/indigenous chant styles. The tracks have mix languages within the same song. A consistent theme across the collection is identity of Solomon Islands cultural pride, ancestry, romance, and social justice.
