| This book has two goals: To preserve in written form the numbers used in the Zapotec spoken in Santa Ana Yareni. To encourage people to count using the numbers in their own language. Note: The numbering system in Zapotec is based on twenty. The story at the end of the book tells how damage to a corn field caused by a neighbour's animals is counted. | ||
