Description:This is a gripping tale about a fishing excursion of Daria Nadeina's and Galina Kandakova's in which Daria Nadeina caught a huge pike. A first transcription and translation into Russian were done in Word by members of the Kalinina team, most probably by Elena Kalinina. The text was retranscribed and time-aligned in ELAN and glossed in FLEx by Brigitte Pakendorf, and questions were checked with Daria Nadeina. The photos "Daria Nadeina with pike" and "Daria Nadeina with pike2" were taken by Elena Kalinina in 2009 and show Daria Nadeina with the big pike that is described in the narrative. The photos "024_blesna" and "025_blesna" were taken by Brigitte Pakendorf in 2017 and show the fishing sticks with line and lures to help understand the action. // Захватывающий рассказ про то, как Дария Ивановна Надеина поймал огромную щуку. This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun’ and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings.
