| Description: | This story was recorded by Elena Kalinina and Nina Sumbatova from Galina Ivanovna Kandakova in 2006. A first transcription and translation were made by Elena Kalinina probably with the help of G.I. Kandakova. In 2017, Daria Bikina transcribed it in ELAN and glossed. The transcription and glosses were checked and corrected by Natalia Aralova. Questions were checked with Galina I. Kandakova. This story is about three men who went upriver by boat. When they reached their destination they tied the boat to a fallen tree and went to the forest. When they came back they could not find the boat. It turned out that it was tied to a tree 1.5 kilometer from there downriver. // Эта запись была сделана Е. Калининой и Н. Сумбатовой от Галины Ивановны Кандаковой в 2006 году. | This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun' and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings. | ||
