| Description: | This recording was made by Elena Kalinina from Galina Ivanovna Kandakova in 2009. A first transcription and translation were made by Elena Kalinina probably with the help of G.I. Kandakova. In 2017, Daria Bikina transcribed it in ELAN and glossed. The transcription and glosses were checked and corrected by Natalia Aralova. Questions were checked with Galina I. Kandakova. Galina Ivanovna tells how people sometimes feel that they suffocate from smoking or from some intense smell (paint or perfume) and what her father used to do against that. // Эта запись была сделана Еленой Калининой от Галины Ивановны Кандаковой в 2009 году. | This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun' and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings. | ||
