| Martine started working with the Ecuadorian Siona in June 2010 when she was a PhD student. | ||
| Alicia is maried to Simon Piaguaje and is mother and grandmother to many of the speakers and transcribers in this project. She is the driving force behind the documentation project on the Aguarico and Eno rivers. | ||
| Herberina was born and still lives in Sototsiaya with her parents Simon Piaguaje and Alicia Suale and her husband Teofilo Payaguaje and their son. She is a sister to Magdalena, Ernestina, Rebalista, Yolanda, Ramiro, Eugenia and Ángel Miguel Piaguaje. | ||
