| Description: | Celina Gonzáles Nazario habla del a:xiwit, una planta que no crece mucho y de flores moradas. Según ella las hojas se hierven junto con el to:tolkilit de flores alargadas blancas y rosadas (Nota: Aparentemente el Brugmansia x candida Pers.) y el ehkaw (Nota: Aparentemente Melampodium divaricatum (Rich.) DC.). Las hojas hervidas de estas planta se revuelven con masa o maíz molido y se les da a los pavipollos. Así se les sigue dando hasta cuando ya están grandes. Agrega González que si uno quiere se puede hervir el a:xiwit junto con el kekexikilit (Aparentemente Xanthosoma sagittifolium (L.) Schott) para prevenir que los pavipollos se afecten de mal de ojo, porque afectados así empiezan a chillar mucho y así se mueren. | |
