Description:		Anastasio Nicolás y Ernesto Vázquez hablan del a:ki:smekat. Vázquez dice que el a:ki:smekat es un bejuco blando que no sirve para amarrar porque se revienta fácilmente aunque si crece grueso. Se reproduce muy rápido y en cualquier parte. Aunque se corta con machete y se cuelga en alguna rama, ahí retoña y crece hacia abajo, buscando tierra para enraizarse. El a:ki:smekat tiene flores rojas y ahí salen los frutos que son verdes de inmaduros pero se ponen negros al madurarse. Los pájaros no se los comen. Finalmente comenta que las hojas del a:ki:smekat se parecen a las hojas del sauco, son puntiagudas
