| Description: | Epheram Hari gives a report about the public court that happened in Ranon the day before. Someone had broken in to the Girls Dormitory and molested the girls. The court was trying to find out what happened and who to blame. It was thought that a man had used several types of black magic to gain entry into the dormitory – shapeshifting magic, magic to unlock doors, and magic to immobilise the girls. The second recording is the report on the concluding meeting of the court where several people were accused but no one was found guilty. It turned out the girls had made up the story as they didn't like school. File Description: This bundle contains two audio files and two associated PDF files containing glossed transcriptions with English and Bislama translations and has been exported from FLEX. File EH1_2a was recorded on 19/6/2010 and file EH1_2b was recorded a week later after the second sitting of the court on 24/6/10. | |
