| Description: | The two video recordings show traditional guaraní recipes. The first one (gui046-1) is about the preparation of "huminta", a corn-based recipe. Guaraní traditional food are based on corn cultivation. The set of photographies shows the preparation of "huminta" : the "huminta" is put into a maize leaf and it is cooked in boiling water. The second video recording (gui046-2) is about the preparation of soup and jam peanut. Some guaraní of the community Iguasurenda cultivate also peanut plant in addition to maize. The transcription in IPA and the translation in spanish of these recipes are in the two PDF documents related to the video recordings. | |
