Description:This is an audio and video recording of a gospel song performed by Domeda Wipar and Tuwaye Wipar. The first verse is in Abom, and it is repeated three times. The second verse is in Wipi/Gidra, and it is repeated twice. It is about how the Jews whipped Jesus and nailed him to the cross for the sins of mankind. It says that he died for all people because he loves them. The recording was made at the residence of Domeda and Tuwaye Wipar. Transcription was done by hand in a field notebook, and later entered into ELAN.
