Description:This is a narrative audio and video recording in which Wasari Samane tells a story about a funny misunderstanding between the Abom and Erarmon people. In the story, a man finds a goanna (lizard) in the bush. He calls out to the other people to bring an axe, bows, and arrows. However, the Erarmon people thought he was calling to bring mud, because the word for mud in Gidra sounds like the word for axe in Abom. The recording was made at the elementary school in Tapila.
