Description:Norbu conducts the Incense burning ritual. This is basicaly a prayer to the gods for the health, peace and prosperity.
This speaker knows a lot of the rituals@ but comments that his memory is not as good as it has been. He became quite excited when asked about the Hare trickster story@ and told a long multi-episode version with fervor.
Henriette is the primary researcher of this language documentation project. She filmed this session and took some of the photographs.
Pincuo is documenting his own language in this language documentation project. He audio recorded this session.
This speaker went along as part of the research team. He helped us connect to contacts he knew in various places and appears in several recordings. He also helped us record and took photos during various sessions.
