Description:		The Northern Alta lexical database includes 2600 entries, many of which have been created by carrying out interlinear morpheme glossing of texts. We have also used some lists of words collected in the past and we continue adding new words regularly. Each entry minimally contains a headword, an abbreviation of the grammatical category to which it belongs, and an English translation. In some cases, we also indicate if it is a borrowing (and if possible, the language from which the word comes), as well as the source of the word and the derived words. The entries in the lexicon may also include additional information, such as the semantic field or a reconstructed form of the word.
