Description:This story tells of a man who goes out to hunt in the forest where he makes hides (maspotes) in the trees from where he can shoot the birds. He hears many birds calling and moves off to another area where he also hears the sounds of bird calls but he was also hearing the calls of enifo, a water spirit who was also hunting birds and calling to them. The man notices a giant footprint and suspects the presence of enifo as the river is nearby. The man scares the enifo who escapes to the river and the man collects all the enifo's meat, bananas, arrows and knives and returns happily to his village.
