| Description: | This video recording was made at the outdooring of the paramount chief of the Avatime area. See references for more general information about this event. In this recording, the paramount chief has reached the house of the spauce father of the former chief. He was carried there from the house where he was held captive for 8 days. The spauce father of the former chief, Raymond Alorwu, gives speech. The people who sit on the ground and carry the ornaments are from the paramount chief's clan (odamgbohe). Adzavi Mensah Stanilous talks about how he and others have chosen the new chief and how happy they are with him. The speech is in Avatime. Adzavi Mensah Stanilous speaks. Some other people speak and shout every now and then. One of them is the linguist of the paramount chief, who is trying to keep everybody quiet. There are many spectators. | |
