| Description: | A hunter returned from the forest and heard the wailing of a human being, a rat and a snake. When he came closer he saw them down in a hole and they all pleaded for him to help them out. After helping them the rat rewarded the hunter by digging a hole towards the chief palace so they could remove gold that was buried there without the knowledge of the chief or anyone else. Now the hunter was rich but the man that he had saved went to inform the chief of the land about this. The chief arrested the hunter and locked him up. The snake came to tell the hunter that he will help him out. The snake went to bite the chief's wife so they had to go looking for someone to treat her. The hunter said he could treat the chief's wife on the condition that he was released. After he was released he said he required the blood of a gossiper for his medicine, if only they could get one! The chief said that the one who reported the hunter lives close to his house and that they should go and bring him. They went and brought the man and he was killed. | |
