Description:This is the first of two video recordings devoted to the customary ways to greet a relative whom the speaker had not the chance to greet during the funeral. Mr. Tshandju James was the stepbrother of Saji, who died unexpectedly as a consequence of an attempted abortion. He brings a hen as an offering to the mourning husband, who is also paternal cousin to James' wife. Henry emphasizes this double "debt" of James' in his regards, and James recognizes the legitimacy of this customary expectation.
