Description:A creature called Tokis who lives in the bush palnted a breadfruit tree. He tended it until it grew big and bore fruit. He tied something around the tree to warn others not to pick the fruit. A man from a settlement came and found the breadfruit tree. He removed Tokis's sign and replaced it with his own. When Tokis come to check the tree, he saw the man's sign and became cross. He removed it and put his own sign back. This went on for a while. One day the man climbed the tree and started to pick the breadfruit. Tokis arrived and found the man picking the breadfruit. He was cross and tld the man he would kill him. The man was afraid. He picked the breadfruit, and Tokis caught them as he threw them down. One breadfruit started bouncing downhill, and Tokis ran after it. The man climbed down and ran to the settlement. Tokis ran after him, but when he reached the settlement, the people there killed him.
