Description: | Conversation and interview. Local: Kuikuro village at Ipatse (Terra Indígena do Xingu, Upper Xingu; Mato Grosso, Brazil). The Session, created by the researcher anthropological consultant (CF), is the development of the Session names "Tahununu". The researcher (BF) and her consultant (CF) met Agatsipáin his house, in the morning. The old man was lying or sitting on his hammock in a corner of the house, near a little fire. BF, sitting on a bench on the right side of the performer's hammock and holding the tape recorder and the microphone, as well a note book. The consultant CF was sitting on another bench. Parents of the performer, living in the same house, participated to the conversation; visitors were, from time to time, watching and hearing. The "payment" for the transmission of knowledge (personal goods) was given to the performer before, during and after the session. | |
