Description:		Recording took place during primary school hours (08:30 AM-03:30 PM) at a primary school in a separate classroom. Recording was done by Dorian de Haan (researcher) between 1984-1986. This is a continuation of DBD DH 045N. This is a broken conversation.
		Goal of this project is to get a clear view of the command of Sarnami and/or Sranan of primary school children of Suriname origin and to study their command of Dutch.
		For this task the child needs to read a short article and has to answer questions about it. Dorian de Haan talks about the short article with the child. The topics are: - Golden Age - industrializing, migration to urban centers - growth of The Hague
		Dorian de Haan is the coordinator/collector of this project. She is of Dutch origin. She works at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, at the Developmental Psychology department.
		Kathleen is of Suriname Creole origin. She was born in 1972 in Suriname. In 1973 she came to the Netherlands. At the age of 7 she moved back to Suriname and lived there for 2.5 years. She lived with her aunt in Suriname; her mother was in the Netherlands. May 3rd, 1982 she went to the Netherlands again. She has 2 sisters and a brother. One of her sisters does not like to speak Sranan. Her brother speaks Dutch to her, with others he speaks Sranan. She is in the last form of primary school. When Dorian de Haan is in the room, she doesn’t want to speak Sranan. She says that she can’t speak the language. Same girl as in 45N, 47Q, 47R, 47S & 52E.
