| CS counts mice in a picture book with numbers from 1 to 10. There was an elicitation interview with the same speaker and the same book before and this was recorded, when the Baure team came to give the book to her as a present. The speaker started to repeat to tell what she saw spontaneously and it took a while to take out the recording device that is why the recording of her counting begins with the number nine only. | ||

Unos días antes ya había una entrevista de elicitación con la misma hablante y el mismo libro y esta sesión fue grabado cuando el equipo de documentación fue a su casa para regalarle el libro. La hablante espontaneamente empezó a re-contar lo que vió y me tardió en sacar la grabadora por lo que lo grabado empieza con el número nueve ya. | ||
| Lena Terhart is a student assistant of the project. She studies Anthropology of the Americas and General Linguistics at the Free Unversity of Berlin and wrote her M.A. thesis on Baure classifiers. | ||
| Femmy Admiraal is working as a linguist in the Baure documentation project. She has a background in both anthropology and linguistics. Her research focuses on the expression of spatial relations in Baure. | ||
| Swintha Danielsen is a doctor of linguistics and is practically administrating and organizing the Baure documentation project. She worked already in Baures between 2003 and 2007 and wrote her PhD thesis on the Baure language. Her research foci are the Baure dialects, hisorical dialect formation and Baure language history in general. In addition she is working on specific Baure morphological features and compares them within the whole Arawakan phylum. | ||
| CS was born in 1943 in the village of Altagracia. She is a fluent Baure-speaker and sometimes converses in Baure with her friends. She has good knowledge about traditional beliefs and customs. CS is very experienced in producing handicrafts (e.g. hammock weaving). She is an active member of the indigenous organization. | ||
