The landlord ("patrón") of the ranch where she and her husband worked asked her husband to tell the dog to guard the meat against another dog, which always came to steal. At night the other dog came, while the good dog was asleep and it suceeded in grabbing some meat. The good dog got up and attacked the bad dog so that it would let go of the meat. When the landlord noticed what had happened he recompensed the dog with the meat that had fallen into the sand. Duración: 00:06:00 La parlante habla de un perro que tenía y que era tan bueno que vigilaba la carne que estaba colgada para secar ("charque"). El patrón de la estancia donde trabajaban ella y su esposo le pidió a su esposo que su perro protegiera la carne por qué otro perro siempre venía a robarla. Una noche este perro ladrón vino y el perro bueno estaba durmiendo así que logró agarrar algo de la carne. El perro bueno se despertó y atacó al perro malo así que el soltó la carne. Cuando el padrón se dió cuenta de lo que había pasado recompensó al perro bueno con la carne que se había caido a la arena. | |
