Description:		In this video, Jacinto Aguavil discusses the old days with his son Juan Aguavil including information about his parents and siblings and how Tsachi children learned in the old days. He also describes the fabrication of canoes, fishing nets and ax handles. He also demonstrates how to make a guatusa whistle. He discusses some specific hunting incidents--in particular encounters with jaguars. He talks about topography and the Tsachi names for various mountains and rivers such as the Tatsa and Ena rivers, and the mountains Kona Du, Era Du and Tsonbili Du. He also recounts both the practice and a specific incident in which after someone died, the Tsachila would bury them in the floor of the house and then move to another location.
